You can have a challenging and high-paying career in automotive service. There is a continuing demand for trained technicians to service and repair today's high-tech automobiles. The opportunities are there if you have the training and the motivation to be one of the best. Our department offers in-depth technical training on automotive theories and repairs plus extensive training in electronic controls. All Automotive Technology programs are NATEF certified. The Automotive Technology department offers one diploma, one degree program and several Certificates.

AUTOMOTIVE FUNDAMENTALS DIPLOMA

A basic program in automotive theories of operations and repair given over a one year period (full time). An introductory to automotive electricity and electronics is a required course taken in the first quarter. The courses in this program prepare the student for initial employment in the automotive repair field.

AUTOMOTIVE CERTIFICATES

The Automotive Technology also offers six certificates designed to quickly aid prospective employees in the automotive field. Automotive Automatic Transmission and Transaxle Technician Basic Automotive Service Automotive Brake Technician Automotive Heating and Air Conditioning Technician Automotive Suspension and Steering Technician Chassis Technician
