The rapidly evolving field of web development has created a need for individuals with the technical skills to design, develop and support web sites. Virtually all businesses require a public web site and many develop internal intranets to support various corporate applications. Smaller businesses also require a web presence for competitive reasons and frequently look to entry-level developers to help them establish and maintain a web site.
