Full-time Cosmetology Instructor
LOCATION:
Thomaston
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A degree from
an accredited college or university *
and* completed courses comparable with
the curriculum taught *OR*
experience/expertise in the area of
curriculum taught. Faculty must be
credentialed to satisfy all appropriate
accrediting bodies for the courses
assigned. Applicant must possess
and maintain a current license to
practice cosmetology in the State of
Georgia.

Associate Degree preferred.
Teaching experience at the
postsecondary level, active
participation in appropriate
professional/occupational organizations,

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual will be responsible for

Must be willing to work flexible

Adjunct
Instructor Griffin
Technical College is continuously seeking qualified candidates for
adjunct faculty teaching positions.
Adjunct faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions of
employment appointed on a quarterly basis.
Adjunct instructors enable us to provide education opportunities
beyond what would be possible using only our full-time staff.
Griffin Technical College is currently building an applicant pool to

Public Services Programs Qualifications
for teaching include a minimum of three years full-time experience in
the field in which they are to teach and educational background specific
to the courses/programs being considered.
Formal teaching certification is not required.
Adjunct positions in some
Associate Degree programs require a Masters Degree in the field or a
Masters Degree with at least 18 semester hours in the teaching
discipline to be taught. Applicants for
positions other than Associate Degree programs must hold a baccalaureate
degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university
in the teaching discipline or a related field.
Preference will be given to candidates that hold a master’s
degree.
