We match students with jobs and employers with students. The programs and services provided by the Job Placement Office enhance job readiness and employability skills. Services include assisting graduates and students in securing employment, assessing career opportunities and designing career advancement strategies. The Job Placement Office provides counseling, conducts quarterly seminars on job search skills, and arranges visits by employers. Griffin
Technical College sponsors the annual Career Connection event for area
employers to visit Griffin Tech and talk with students about their
companies and employment opportunities. Activities are planned for the
faculty and employer representatives to network and make positive
connections for future job leads. Job Placement works with
graduates, faculty/staff and employers to collect comprehensive
employment statistical data.
