Diesel Equipment Technology
The Diesel Equipment Technology program is a six-quarter (full-time) sequence of courses that prepares the student for entry into the Diesel powered vehicle./equipment service and repair profession. The program emphasizes a combination of Diesel theory and practical application necessary for successful employment.
Office Technology
Griffin Technical College's Butts County Center is equipped with the most up-to-date technology. Because of that, Griffin Tech is able to offer more technical certificates of credit to apply towards a diploma or degree. Learn skills as a Data entry Clerk, Microsoft Office User Specialist, or Computer Applications Specialist.
Patient Care Assisting
This program prepares students to sit for a certification examination to become professionally certified as a Patient Care Assistant. The program prepares students for careers in a variety of positions in today's medical facilities. The sequence of courses emphasizes a combination of medical theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Classroom instruction and practical experience are divided between administrative skills and patient care skills.
Certified Nail Technician
Ready for a career in manicuring, pedicuring, and the application of specialized nail treatments? Graduate of the Nail Technician program receive a certificate and, upon passing the state license exam, are employable as nail technicians.

Submit a complete application with a nonrefundable $15 fee to the Admissions Office.

Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma, GED, or college degree.

Present acceptable ASSET, COMPASS, SAT, or ACT scores taken within the last five years or transfer of program level English and math from a regionally accredited college or other post secondary institution with a grade of C or better.

Attend orientation session for advisement and registration.
