REGISTRATION FOR ALL
CLASSES IS REQUIRED ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE!

Admission -Pre-registration and payment for a class will reserve your seat. Registration is required one week in advance. There are no educational prerequisites for most courses, and applicants are not required to send high school transcripts or take an entrance exam for non-credit classes.
A parent or guardian must accompany any student under 16 years of age. Parents or guardians of children whose behavior disrupts class will be given one warning. If disruptive behavior persists, the child will be dismissed from the class without a refund.
Payment - Registration may be paid either in person, by phone or fax, or via mail delivery. We accept money orders, cashiers checks, personal checks, cash, VISA and MasterCard. Payment for class registrations is one week in advance, if space is still available we will accept registrations up until the class begins, but registration must be done through Community Services or the cashier's office. Our instructors are not permitted to accept cash for registration fees.
Registration is on a first come - first served basis. Because class enrollment is limited in most classes, it is best to register as early as possible.
Checks - Checks should be made payable to Griffin Technical College and must be received prior to the beginning date of your course. If your course selection is unavailable when we receive your check, you will be notified and given the opportunity to make an alternate selection or receive a full refund. There is a $25 fee for checks drawn an accounts without sufficient funds. Checks may be delivered in person or mailed with a completed registration form to:

Company Payment - Purchase orders (PO's) or company authorizations may be faxed or mailed with a completed registration form. The authorization must be on a company letterhead and signed by a company official stating the student's name, course, and to whom to send the invoice.
Cash or Credit Card - We do not have change available in our office. Please bring exact change. Cash payments should be made in person. Credit card (VISA & MasterCard) payment may be done in person, over the telephone, or via fax.
In Person - Walk-in registrations are always welcome. Bring your completed registration form and payment to the Community Services Center (the building on North Expressway). Our office hours are Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. After business hours, you can register in the main building at the cashier's window.
Cancellations - Most classes have a minimum number of students that will ensure adequate enrollment; which is why we require registration a week prior to class. If enrollment is under the required number you will be notified of cancellation at least 3 days before class is to begin. You will be refunded in full.
Refund
Policy - If you need to withdraw
from a class, you must notify the
Community Services Center's office at
least 24 hours before class is scheduled
to begin.

Parking - Parking is limited on campus. Parking is available behind our building and additional parking is in the student lot across from the Main Building. Please do not park in the faculty and staff parking spaces, which are marked by signs located on our building. If you do, you may be ticketed by Campus Safety. If you have not parked illegally and you receive a ticket from our campus safety officers, please complete the bottom portion of the ticket and return it to the Business Office in the Main Building.
