Commercial Truck Driving
Tractor Trailer training is available day or evening for those individuals 18 years of age or older to operate in the State of Georgia and 21 years of age to meet the national DOT requirements. There are several additional admissions requirements for this program, please call or refer to the Commercial Truck Driving Class "A" brochure.
Business Technologies
Griffin Technical College's Jasper County Center is equipped with the most up-to-date technology. Because of that, Griffin Tech is able to offer more technical certificates of credit to apply towards a diploma or degree. Learn skills as a Data entry Clerk, Microsoft Office User Specialist, or Computer Applications Specialist.
Car Audio Installation Technician
The Car Audio Installation program is designed to meet the needs of an individual who is interested in installing car audio systems for personal and career opportunities. This program will provide the student an avenue to grow into other opportunities in the electronics field. Material covered includes audio system design, speaker installation, woofer box design amplifier installation, electrical systems, and diagnostics and repair of existing stereo systems.
Welding & Joining Technology
In today's competitive job market, get prepared with the necessary skills to get the job done right. The program offers five certificates to thoroughly instruct you in all facets of the welding industry with plenty to include on your resume.
Automotive Technology
According to Georgia Care Information Service, the average salary for Automotive Technicians in 2005 was $31,200. Griffin Technical College offers six certificate programs to train individuals for an automotive career, all of which can be applied toward a diploma or degree.
Lawn Equipment/Small Engine Repair
Hands-on training is what sets us apart. In this program, students will gain knowledge through hands-on training in lawn equipment diagnosis and repair, 4-stroke engine, 2-stroke engine, and transmission/transaxle diagnosis and repair.

Submit a complete application with a nonrefundable $15 fee to the Admissions Office.

Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma, GED, or college degree.

Present acceptable ASSET, COMPASS, SAT, ACT or CPE scores taken within the last five years or transfer of program level English and math from a regionally accredited college or university with a grade of C or better.

Attend orientation session for advisement and registration.
