Financial Aid

  • Students must declare a major to be eligible for financial aid
  • If you are not eligible for financial aid, you must pay your own fees by the due date or your schedule will be dropped.
  • To be eligible for financial aid while attending Griffin Technical College, you must hold GTC’s institutional Student Academic Progress (SAP) policy which is a cumulative 2.00 GPA and a cumulative 67% completion ratio of all classes attempted (prior and current) at GTC.  If SAP is not met, GTC will allow you two probationary quarters to still receive financial aid to work toward meeting the institutional SAP policy.  At the end of the two probationary quarters, should you still not meet the SAP policy, you will then be placed on Financial Aid Suspension and will not be eligible for financial aid until you again meet the institutional SAP policy.
